Many people, at one time or another, have had visions of owning or operating a small business. If you are one of them then you will want to take advantage of a Free Business Start-Up Workshop on February 28, 2012 from 8:30 to 10:30AM at the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce - 590 North Yosemite Ave in Oakdale. This workshop is aimed at educating prospective business owners and budding entrepreneurs with the
intention of increasing their chances for success. However, many factors ultimately determine the success or failure of any business venture. This workshop will review the key factors for success and discuss how anyone can get started right away to get their business launched! The class is co-sponsored by Oakdale Chamber of Commerce and the SBA's Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce is focused on uniting the business community by enhancing business, tourism and economic growth. They represent nearly 400 business and 3200 employees.
The SBDC is part of the Stanislaus Economic Development and Workforce Alliance, and is a member of the UC Merced Regional SBDC Network, in cooperation with the US Small Business Administration (SBA).
